Through the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course, we provide aspiring engineers with the competence, abilities, and a strong interest in design, analysis, testing, and manufacture of machines, engines, turbines, pumps, Automotive vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.) and other equipment.
What is it?
Mechanical Engineering is an engineering branch that combines engineering physics and mathematics principles with materials science, to design, analyse, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is a three year regular course.
Scope
After completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering a student can opt from numerous opportunities like –
Government Sector
- Become Junior Engineer (JE) in RRB, SSC, Defence, Transporting sector, Aerospace, power plants (Hydro power plants, Nuclear power plants and Thermal power plants) and ALP in railways etc.
- Lab Instructor in Government Polytechnic Colleges and Instructor in Govt. ITI.
Private Sector
- In the private sector various industry verticals like Automobile, Production, Supply Chain Management, Operational Optimization, Power Generation, Automated Manufacturing, etc offer immense opportunities and with Government’s impetus on Atma Nirbhar Bharat, opportunities have increased manifolds.
