Through the Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery(ANM) curriculum we intend to prepare skilled and effective female health workers to achieve the goals of the National Health Mission which aims to improve the health system and health status of the country. We provide training for ANM as community health Worker. Our ANM Nursing course teaches students how to set up an operating room, care for various pieces of equipment, keep records, and give patients their medications on schedule.
What is it?
ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery. It is a 2 Year diploma course in Allied Healthcare for females wherein students are trained in maternal and child health along with family planning services, health and nutrition education, efforts for maintaining environmental sanitation, immunisation for the control of communicable diseases, treatment of minor injuries, and first aid in emergencies and disasters
Scope
After completing ANM, a student becomes NURSE and can avail various opportunities in
Government Sector
ANM nursing vacancy is increasing Due to the high demand for nursing professionals in government sectors as Nurse Supervisor, Staff Nurse, Military Nurse etc in District Hospital, Community health centres, Primary Health Centre etc.
Private Sector
Various private companies are offering ANM Nursing career opportunities for aspirants after completing their ANM Nursing course as Certified Nurse Assistant, Nurse Educator, Nursing Manager, Patient Care Coordinator etc.
Higher Education
Eligibility
- Intermediate or XIIth equivalent with minimum 35% marks from either Arts (English subject compulsory) or Science Background
- Only Female candidate are eligible to apply for admission
- Minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17-35 years
- Original and duly self-attested photocopy of qualifying examination marksheet
